A quiet, pretty scientist turn confident party girl was the story
on the runway. Proportions were demure; with the exception of two
hot pants, hemlines were knee length
or longer.

The modesty, combined with elements such as a black shirt with a white square collar gave a sense of nerdiness, while silk dresses
in fading yellow lended a sweet, slightly vintage vibe. Black and white lace on georgette with studded sequins in similarly modest
shapes revealed the party side
of the scientist.

Backstage, Kate Sylvester described the colours as "dusty mothy colours with a touch of electricity", and indeed, neon magentas and purples were contrasted against the gentle movement of sheer chiffon skirts
and flutter sleeves for a collection of contrasts
